Our Alternator started "life" having a rear pump on it with a Heavy Duty Bearing. This is not a "cheap" Domestic Unit with a rear bushing, that is unable to deal with the stresses of the rear mounted Mark II & Mark IX P/S Pump. Our unit is a NEW 70 AMP (Computer Tested) model that is an OE replacement on a Diesel Truck. Pre-wired, it includes all parts and instructions to install!
This unit will fit all 3.4 or 3.8 Engines ( except "S" Models) that had a Generator as Original equipment! An excellent alternative to wrestling with a Power Steering pump for add-on Power Steering!
